Too many bones, to list, too much tissue damage to list, too much stainless steel parts to list, too many drained bottles, vials, canisters of meds to list...
Still finding some things that arent quite right as well....

I am healing well, thanks!
Welp...I started "Hydro-Worxs Therapy", tomorrow will be my 4th session. If your not familiar with what it is...its a pool approx. 10x12, the entire base of the pool is a platform/treadmill that can be lowered or raised to any height/depth. There is a series of jets and underwater cameras that the therapist operate as well as the treadmill speed and jet pressure. While doing my exercises I can watch myself on two monitors from different angles and if I need to correct any of my movements my therapist lets me know what it is, what to do, what not to do, how to do it etc.
I actually get to run (in the pool at about 40% of my weight), that feeling was sooo sweet
So far I have noticed a marked improvement just from that (hydro-worx) alone, in strength, balance and range of motion.
I use a series of paddles, floats and resistance noodles for balance and strength exercises, it feels pretty awesome to see light at the end of the tunnel.
Im still not sure when I will actually be able to go out and do light riding. Im shooting for early summer but there are a few things that are going to delay that.
Possibly a couple more surgeries, I'll know more within the next week or so.

Take it easy buddy -- we don't want any quick relapses.

It'll be easy goings for awhile.
Still need to build up enough strength to be able to stand in the pedals.

That's awesome! Even an easy ride is huge...gets you out of the house, and I find it helps you focus on rehab more because you're able to see improvements in riding that will get you pumped to improve more.

So over the winter I decided that I wanted to try my hand at racing BMX....well one gate...and this was what happened.
Image

SO...Upon landing I snapped and shattered my collarbone. OUCH!!!
Here's the Xray...
Image

One Titanium plate, a few screws and some severely bruised pride later. I'm out of work for a bit. I want to ride my bicycle....got a few more weeks to get OK from Dr. But I've retired from BMX...my 4yr old said "daddy! NO more BMX! I don't want you to break anymore! WE can go watch." Smart kid........anyway
RHS hope you're doing well.

GO CELTS!!!!!!!!!
