Ho Lee crap Dan. That doesn't sound fun at all. Dave has a spot on his couch for you too to heal together.
Sure hope you heal up quickly with as little pain as possible.
Can you give us the where & how it happened. Let me know if you need anything also.

Ufft. Sorry to hear. That sucks.

Hope your recovery is as smooth as possible!

And another answer to “Who does this?” is you! I’m hoping you are fully recovered by now Aaron. Friends followed me back and helped me load my bike and unload it at home. Then I did go to the ER to get checked out, and glad I did. I really needed the painkillers last night, and am doing breathing work with a spirometer. Damn it hurts to get that float up!

The rest of us rode on…

Thank Rick and Carl for me for getting you back to a trailhead.

Bet your ankle’s not bugging you now!

Best piece of busted sh!t recovery gear ever (just slightly above good pain meds)

Lived in that thing for a couple weeks. Luckily I had enough strength in my arms and legs to sit up without activating my core!

Watch out for swelling in your extremities.

OBTW, looks like you missed the line by only an inch and a half and the hump (couldn’t really call it a ridge) that got you was probably invisible in the flat light at the time.

Oh and as a public service…anyone riding Crest since they worked on it…the water bars are now sky launchers so take care…

Hey!

Didn’t mean to imply anything there. I was having such a great time with y’all until suddenly I wasn’t! And in between gasps of pain over every bump on the ride back, I couldn’t help thinking I was missing the best part of the loop. Thanks pard.

I can second the recliner recommendation.

If you don’t have one, borrow one (I did).

Only way to get any sleep.

Dan and I fall off our bikes from a height of three feet (saddle height) and :flame:. This guy flies a million ft through the air, crashes, gets back up and sends it.

Hope you're starting to feel better Dan. While you're on the painkillers, we're not expecting to see any "what are you sippin' on?" pics.
