Heal well. Abzilla is this the same guy that got stitches on his thigh riding with you? If it is, you two should be separated before it gets any worse. :D

Yup, that's him, but don't blame the injuries on us riding together. When putting the effort to move to the next level of riding, sometimes this is what happens.

The next level? Lance used drugs  and got rich in the process , thank goodness for insurance, 2 ER visits and surgery, this could have been a real financial mess. Ride on with ya bad self.

Ladies and Gents don't go to Tri City Medical Center. They did not diagnose my DVT nor even clean my wound after I broke my leg.

Damn, that's just wrong! Didn't clean you up? An Xray wouldn't show a Dvt and they probably had no reason to do an Ultrasound, to diagnose the Dvt on an active, healthy guy; Dvt more than likely developed days after the accident, glad you are okay. Tricity was great when I worked that E.R

I thought everyone knew not to go to Tri-City unless you're having a heart attack or squirting blood uncontrolably, no? Sorry, Fred.

n10sive - heal well, if you haven't already, you will have surgery. If in 3 pieces, you will have a big scar and a cool story to tell along with it. But it will be almost as good as new.

Just piping in on Tri-City, been there three times for ER, and we had our twins there. The boys are kind of messed up  but I can't say I blame it on the hospital, and my ER visits were good, at least they fixed and cleaned me up.

N10sive, glad to hear you're on the mend soon. It will be a cool story and a scar before you know it. The other thing about surgery is your shoulder will be the same size or close. When a collarbone does not heal properly (in a "z" pattern, like mine) your shoulder gets shorter. My left shoulder is about half an inch shorter now than my right. Not a big deal, but if I was a pro surfer or basketball player, could be a big deal.

Hi Mike,

Bummer that your left shoulder is lower. It would make your guitar playing easier if it was your right shoulder. :D

My left wrist was busted playing ice hockey and it healed crooked after the hack doctor at palomar hospital botched the reset of the bone. Makes biking somewhat painful and means I can't use straight bars anymore. But it's bent inwards, which makes reaching the fretboard a bit easier. Ya roll with the cards ya got!

In the name of almighty mountain I say HEEAL! Really really fast.
Now days ortho surgeries are so good. You'll be as good as new!
Ride street or fire roads to keep up da legs from getting too soft. Ride mostly with one hand till docs says full weight.
Good vibes n mojo

Speedy recovery!

So who built up that lip that you guys crashed on?!?? We were up there yesterday and that stupid lip does not seem right for the amount of speed you hit it with. I hate having to rail on the brakes just to not get sent to the moon. It was fine before, now it's all steep & "poppy"

Exactly. We usually hit it full speed an it just launches you straight and land just at the end of the berm usually but with the lip it shot me about 10ft higher I think and way past the berm. We initially rode it behind someone slower who didn't clear the table so we can see why it was built up for slower people. Definitely too dangerous going full speed. I thought abzillah took most of the lip down after I crashed but maybe it was built back up by someone.

The problem is that I took the lip down, but the ramp up had also been dug down to send you up. I might go up tomorrow evening with the water pack and a shovel and change it back to send you forward and not up.
