circa 2006 @ Serpent before that bucky jump section you guys are talking about.

I think the fires in 2007 burnt everything in that area, and whoever rode the trails after the fire couldn't find the line and made it straight. I will have to walk through and see if I can find the old line and start riding that instead.

No, new-comers insisted on straightlining everything. We even blocked off fall lines and crap chutes with thick shrubs and dead falls on a weekly basis but riders got lazier and lazier to learn how to ride fundamentally. I remember when the jumps had faced landings so casing them was not considered an option. I got tired of the infighting and booby trapping at Serpent I moved onto peaceful spots in 08. The local pros kinda picked up the slack and built sick new lines and kept the chicanes and berms up. Even started calling the place 94Easy so noone knows where it is. Then there's the internet... CIAO...LOL!

anyways, keep riding and ride on. we need to hit up a ride together soon.

Well, I really don't know the history of the place, and I only started riding them in February of this year. I have seen a few small changes, but not too many. Things currently are the way I found it.

Just like you moved on from Chulijuana, I'll be out of Socal soon too. I want to come up and ride some trails in your hood, but currently I'm in love with ATT and don't want to drive to North County. Maybe when my student loans come in in January I'll have enough gas money to drive North and do some rides with you.

It looks like N10Sive is not updating his status, so I'll update everyone. He had surgery on Wednesday, and I visited him on Friday and he's just being being lazy and just watching TV all day! So, he's doing good.

Hey I'm allowed to be lazy. The scars a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Counting the days to ride!

Glad he's ok.

I'm doing the same, but haven't had my surgery as of yet, Doc want me to get my range of motion back first, but we will see what they say on the 14.

That's an awesome scar and nice piece of jewelry! Now you just have to come up with a really cool story.

That scar looks about the same size as mine, but on a different part of the shoulder.
The key, if you don't know it already, will be to do lots of rotator cuff strengthening movements, and secondary to that, delts and traps. Give it a good year before you fall on it that hard again.
