Why I can lay in bed with my beer and a dog.
I crashed a week ago and woke up two days later with a stiff neck. It got worse every day so after a week I went to the doctor he said I had dislocated my neck.
Drink beer and stay in bed is what I heard. The dog is a service dog.
I have no neck pictures but did take one after the crash.

Patients can have a cervical fracture or dislocation, or both. Fractures and dislocations of the cervical spine are not uncommon, and account for almost half of all spinal column injuries that occur every year.
I have been taking medication but went to the acupuncture doctor and it’s feeling better.

Just saw your post, Tom. I'm glad you went for acupuncture. Over my career, I successfully treated many lumbar and cervical injuries. In most cases, surgery was never needed.

Bobby and I were riding Calavera yesterday.
On the south side of the water tower trail
I ran out of talent.....................................
The front of the bike went left and i went right.
I guess I landed squarely on a rock, it hurt pretty
bad at first. It wasn't dripping blood down my arm,
so we finished the ride. Got back to the truck and
took off my jersey to this.

A little rash on the leg too.....................

5 stitches and 6 hours later.
