San Diego isn't in the plans for 2010.

After following and riding from Solvang to Palomar last year (prior to this I had no interest in road racing) my first thought was ... WTF SAN DIEGO, WHY DIDN'T YOU WORK TO BRING THIS BACK !!!!

BUT...

Looks like there will be a mountain top finish in Big Bear!

No rumors on the route yet, will it be the 38 or the 330??? Either way, awesome.

Cabin has been pre-reserved for the expected finish dates :)

Confirmed dates and routes due next week, I believe.

that sucks but the climb to big bear will be gnarly and easier to watch. Its in may now right? Maybe they are planning to compete with the Giro D'Italia. Would be sweet to see a 3 week grand tour evolve out of this some day.

+1. There's plenty of good riding between Yreka and San Diego . . . .

It sucks SD might not be in the TOC this year. I was talking with the organizers at Interbike and they said that the cities bid to have the race come to town. Since SD is poor we miss out. This is another example of SD not getting the whole cycling is good thing.

Who cares anyway, Solvang is much more fun anyway.
