I haven't owned a road bike for a few years now, but I am geeked about this year's TdF. So far there have been two photo finishes in six days of racing; Cavendish has won three stages, passing Bernard Hinault for second place in total stage wins in TdF history; a young rider in a stage-long break of 113 miles was caught 500 meters from the finish; and the race hasn't even gotten to the mountains yet. Any other Road Treaders out there?

I don't care for riding road and don't normally follow it but I have seen portions of the TDF.(inc the photo finish). Pretty close competition for sure

I'm watching it, and it's a great year. The sprints have been phenomenal. My favorite rider, Sagan is doing well. Cavendish seems to have upped his game with harder training on the track. Now onto the mountains...

Tomorrow there should be fireworks in the hills, and even more on Sunday. Did any one watch today? The 1K banner should get "Most Aggressive Rider".

That was unexpected. Cheeky, committed move.

Quintana looked like he had a lot in reserve today. Can't wait to see him and Froome go at it in the Alps.

Froome was badgering Quintana to stop sucking his wheel, but he stuck to his strategy.

Watching the finale of today's stage:
I have a new found respect for Froome with the way he's riding, I mean f-ing RACING. Quintana has to be asking himself WTF.
