I'm going with the Columbian, Nairo Quintana to win it. Cantador has great form and must be monitored at all times; team Sky will be ever so present at the front of the peloton. Le Tour de France

Contador is looking strong but he's got to have some teammates step up and help to be on top in three weeks. I don't want to see A TEAM dominate the race but 'they' can help position him/Quintana/anyone but Froome to launch attacks. Can't pin my finger on why but I just can't root for Froome. Hope le Tour is as animated as the Dauphine was!

Unless they change the lineup in the next few hours, Quintana won't be riding. You lose.

Keep and eye on Andrew Talansky who just won the Dauphiné and is the best American rider sense Lance (IMO) and of course Chris Horner, he did win the Vuelta after all but is coming off injury.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one. This should be Valverde's last shot at the GC. Next year we should see Movistar focus on getting Quintana on the podium.

A bit of bad luck for me too -- I won't be able to stir the pot with my praise and defense of the fastest man on two wheels.

No. Not a fan or detractor of Wiggo. Somtin' about Froome just doesn't sit right with me.

Cool to see the GC guys sparing a bit on the second stage today!

What's everyone think of the American GC contenders Talansky and van Garderen? Thinking either can be top 10 assuming things go smoothly. Podium is a stretch for both, though. Talanske is obviously on good form following the CdD. I don't think he had to work ridiculously hard for the win as he came from behind and was able to take advantage of the other leaders looking at one another. So, he might be coming in to the tour feeling strong. van Garderen's name hasn't been on the radar since late spring...

Froome is a fake. He's on the old school 'program'. I wish I could believe in Horner...

I'm pulling for TJ and Andrew make the top 5.

I think Nibali has a good chance to win it all.

Every interview with Jens is AWESOME! I hope he gets into TV.

^^^This! When he went for the intermediate points yesterday I was thinking, "He's gone/going for it." Don't know how the two he was with didn't anticipate that.

Not nearly the personality of Voigt (at least from the media I've been exposed to) but every bit the animator is Voekler. Dude is a scrappy racer.
