I saw the interview when he lost that stage. Tyler was really pissed that he lost. I don't blame him. It's gotta really suck to be the 2nd fastest guy around when the fastest guy is so much faster. The comment that caused all this bruhaha seemed oddly worded, but I interpreted as: "Cav sucked yesterday, but won today... go figure". I still cannot see an accusation there.

The way I interpreted the next day's quote: "It’s never a good idea to give an interview in the heat of the moment when you’re fired up from a race and I probably would have been better off to keep my mouth shut" was also at face value. The media created this huge buzz of accusations based upon two sentences, and Tyler regretted saying things that fed the ravenous media beast.

I'll agree to disagree.
