It should be a couple of hours, not much of elevetaion, just over a thousand feet on a two mile climb but is steep and tight swetchbacks, for most mortals is a challenging but fun climb, I'll show you the way but you might have to wait for me at the top or go slow, is up to you, I ride very slow so some company would be nice

From the top we'll decide what route to take, depends of who shows up.

Change of plans for tomorrow:
Sorry guys but I just found out I don't have a front brake on my Stumpy and I won't be able to fix it by tomorrow so I'll have my back-up 1x9 bike only and that won't work at RH for me so we'll have to do Sweetwater only, so same time and meeting place but different route, sorry again.

Baka, what is your route? If I get out of work at a close enough time I will try and find you guys. Otherwise I will be heading up RH

We are going down Gnat Catcher, Dead Cow to upper Tiki Hut, down Bone Yard to Rattle Snake Ridge all the way down to the fence then up RattleSnake counterclock to Lower Tiki Hut, Ridge Trail and back up Gnat Catcher, plenty of hike-a-bike for my 1x9 but doable on a granny.

Good times today at Sweetwater
Next week is going to be an easy ride, beginner friendly, in fact if you have a friend of family member that you would like to show them what singletrack riding is all about bring them next week, Arturo(turiha) is bringing his son so it should be a good time.
More info later next week.

So here is the meeting place for next Wednesday June 16 at 5:00 pm:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?client=f ... f25b9fa670

Again, this is going to an easy ride, we are going to start at the end of "Touch the Fence" trail so we can ride all the singletrack along the lake, depending of who shows up I'll let you know of bridges or any minor technical spots but most of it is flat and flowy singletrack.
See you guys Wednesday.

Fun ride yesterday, what was supposed to be a newbie ride turned into a hammer fest around the lakes since no newbies showed up, my friend Ivan and new DT'r ABE-M(we met him last year) rode at a pretty good pace.
Here are the only pictures I got since there wasn't that many stops.

We were trying to keep up with this guy, yeah right.

Poor lizard.

It was fun to show Abe around the lake.
