Fred had a small roll at the ready, and made my friend's tire with a blown out ripped bead rideable enough to get back to the truck. It wouldn't stay on the rim otherwise. I didn't think of that, altho I keep a foot or two wrapped around my pump handle and kept clean by a section of road inner tube over it. Thanks Fred!

Add duck tape to the list. Ive gotten too complacent. i haven't carried anything in for a while. Except a hex n small pliers multi-tool thing. This reminds me to start carrying my kit.

Throw in a pair of vise-grips and you're set for life.

I keep a film canister (remember film cameras?) full of medical gauze for boo- boos, and then wrap duct tape around it a few times, then 20 gauge wire a few times, then electrical tape a few times. This set up has saved my ass and others many times! Oh, also bring some thin rope and zip ties.

I do not want to hear any disrespectful shoeshine jokes. Fred saves the day again with his roll of duct tape.
