I needed a ride today, I had heard
Shannon and Orven were going to
ride together and "crush" rocks. I
needed no part of that, so I started
my ride a little late. Ran into Roger,
AKA spotter and we head off from Skyhaven.
We ran into Steve, a friend of mine from
school, he was out hiking with family.
We headed to the "pad" and ran into Nathan,
AKA loball. It was great to see him, it's been a while.
We bullshitted for a while and then headed east.
At the top of "bush" trail we ran into 4 riders waiting
for the last, we talked with them for a while and then
their 5th rider showed up, Mathew, AKA 325racer.
He was hurting, we gave him an 'attaboy". Not really.
i didn't know Mathew had friends to ride with .

We ran into Nathan and his buddy on the back 40 and I
gave him a tour of my favorite trail, and Roger showed
us a new to me trail.

We ran into Shannon and Orven at the eucalyptus trees
and headed back. Ran into Skinny Tom and Kevin at the
bottom of Surpentine.

Got back to Skyhaven and pelicaned a couple beers
from Shannon........................................

You never know who you will run into

As mentioned, I too went for a ride today, with a new group.2 of the 4 riders I was with are Oside Firefighters, another is Oside City Council and the 4th is Marketing/ PR for Canyon.

Before seeing Harley momentarily while I tried to catch my breath I had seen Shannon and Ozzer as our group took off ahead of me as I again tried to catch my breath.

Today was a bit of a torture fest for me, but it was a perfect day for a ride at Calavera!

It was like the "olden days"!
