It was a good day! Beautiful weather riding up the fire road and down Noble with OldDogDan and ajdonner. Being in the mountains was what the doctor ordered.

Post-ride, while enjoying tasties at the bottom, Inconceivable rolled up with a passenger. Spoiler Alert: The Vanessa exists! It was fantastic to finally meet her.

Final thought; those times when I have an internal debate of whether to go on a ride or not because I'm tired, sore, unmotivated, etc., I will draw inspiration from ODD. Even while battling lymphoma the last 15 years or so, he's still getting out and making it happen. Amazing.

Windy and warm — a good start to a beautiful day in the mountains with a couple of friends. I could not pass up this opportunity!

This oak tree marking the end of the first leg of the climb is always a welcome sight.

(*ajdonner, you may recognize that as the name of a well-known rock climb at JT)

Waiting for me at the top of a difficult uphill. I had failed to keep the rubber side down at a tricky rock obstacle, and bailed over the side. Luckily, no harm done to shiny new bike or tired old bones.

Thanks for a great day in the mountains avidtest & ajdonner, and Inconceivable for joining us at the bottom for some cold ones.

It was nice to meet up with you guys at the end of our rides!

Of course... you did not provide any photographic evidence of this so-called "Vanessa". I think that just means you are part of the conspiracy. :ninja:
