Was it role reversal? Was it the circle of life? Was it a comeback of unepic proportion?
Not sure but I loved every minute of it.
Went riding Motos at Corral Canyon with my oldest son today. After doing the math we figured that I haven't ridden a moto in over 14 years   (and it feels like it now...)

He has a spare KTM so this was my eBike for the day

Not too many people out today and had most of the trails to ourselves

I've been riding since I was 8 and my oldest started at 12. The way it USED to go is Dad would lead, pick the trails that I thought the kids could handle but with a bit of a challenge tossed in for good measure. Hammer down in front and then wait for them to catch up and then move forward again & again.
Now, well... riding a moto again for me was quite a humbling experience since there was a total role reversal of sorts. He hammers off all the while tossing a roost at dad all day long and I had to choke on his dust. There he would be, waiting for the old man up the trail. Rinse and repeat all day long.

I found out quite a few things about newer bikes and they sure make riding easier. Pick a line and plow right up/down/or through without an issue. Also, those frigging seats aren't made for fat ass old men

We had a great time spending the day together and in sorts, reliving the past in a futuristic manner.
Stopped off at Alpine Brewery for a late lunch. One thing that still remains the same. Dad pays the bill
