I got my first taste of some of the Sycamore trail system today (thanks guys!). Wow. Color me impressed. I can't believe I've been missing out on this gem! I won't mention any specific trail names, as I'm not sure of the level of secrecy involved (can't imagine they are too secret), but I don't want to step on any toes. That place has a ton to offer. Some great technical riding, boulder rollers and drops, some jumps, and even a climb that was fun (many were not....). Kudos to the builders of some of these trails. Very well done and thought out. There's one trail section in particular that we didn't make it over to, but after seeing some vids after I got home, it's on the hit list next time......

Thanks again for the tour.

Great post, Avid....I think I'm the last of the oldtimer riders in this town who has not ridden out there yet, at least no on the 'new' trails.

I suppose I gotta put that up near the top of my list.

Yes you do Ray. Post haste.

Trails'r so nice, I had to ride them twice. Still didn't make it over to the trail that's stuck in my head, but I did find out how to get there. A very good reason to go back again..and again...

I did. :) and I'm still sore. Been a while since I rode 3 days in a row (only twice at this spot though). Thanks again for the tour!

We were out there on Sunday. We rode up to Martha's and back but only did Blazing Saddles before heading home. Had to go to a graduation party but at least it had an open bar -- with Sculpins!

One of these days I'm going on a suffer-fest to ride (almost) all of the Mel Brooks trails, then go up and do Martha's. I think that will be a bring-a-lunch ride.

If I'm not mistaken, it's gonna be a bit warm out there this weekend.......otherwise I'd consider hitting it up.
