Checked out Condor Peak trail above LA recently. Great backcountry ride, it has just been fully restored after being closed since the Station Fire in 2009.

That pretty much sucks. But what doesn’t suck at all is I took my Kona e-MTB for a ride as a mullet, and it f*ckin rips! :thumbsup: Seriously, I replaced the 27.5 x 2.8 Kona wheel with the 29 x 2.5 from my Pivot (same size brake disc, and both with a fairly fresh Maxxis DHF at same air pressure) and it feels like a totally different bike. A much faster, better steering bike, still with gobs of traction in the back.

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be except for first few berms but loose stuff with 29x2.8 right at home
