Trail 62 Ranch trail in Preskitt. I really like this trail. Not crazy but a "fun" climb for about 12 miles out and then head back. I tried to keep track of the last 4-5 miles down and I didn't pedal more than 50 yards.
So relaxing and puts a grin on my bearded face

Riding up through old fire scar

Reached the summit on Brookbank/ Big bang trails. Some of the most exposed/skinny/steep/techie climbs I've ever done before. Didn't help things with my vertigo kicking in & feeling like I'm falling to the left all ride (which was the down hill side of course)

Just over this rocky section it opens up to a real treat worth it all. Big Bang is high on my list of trails.

Burnt Mountain at Daley yesterday. So damn nice we rode it twice. Thanks to recent trail work and the morning drizzle we rode in yesterday, the conditions were outstanding. Diamondback, Bobcat and Crest were all in tip-top shape too. By the time we finished up on Crest, I was both so exuberant and so tired I almost crashed. Twice. Into the bushes but still on the bike. Woohoo!

Dropping the bikes to explore on foot, into the jungle with a few trusted companions, like Redmond O’Hanlon, Into the Heart of Borneo! Well, except no leeches. Or headhunters. And only five minutes from a paved road. So nothing much like it I guess. But it was fun.
