They really know how to build some fun trail systems in the St. George area.


[edit: I found this video - this guy rode the same trails in the same order we did. OldandSlow and I had a fun afternoon ride]

^^^ Good to know. I did spend a free night near there at Poverty Flat/Snowbird Mesa because the Valley of Fire campgrounds were full. But in St. George I camped for free in Andy’s spare room. Includes a warm bed, Mexican food, and good whiskey.

Here’s another from yesterday. It was just f*cking great out there. The wind, the clouds, the light…and kites, hawks, and ravens were swooping in the sky, looking just like I felt. Lots of early blooming flowers too. I had just driven two days straight from Denver, getting out before a major snowstorm, saw the rain forecast for North County, and knew I had to get up and get out on my home trail before the rain.
