It needs to be cleaned up!
Not the place for a “village”.

I'd throw it all away. Art or not, it doesn't belong. Maybe leave a note for little Timmy to explain.

FWIW, I also kick over cairns people seem to pile up everywhere these days. And I also toss away rocks people seem to be painting and putting down next to trails. /humbug

I’d give a kid’s inherently temporary art project a pass. That’s a high traffic area in close proximity to a park — there’s lots worse around there. Ideally the kid would retrieve it after a while before it fell apart, but since someone maliciously trashed it already, yeah, then I’d pack it out. Some days I pick up all the trash I find, replace strava-tized rocks, and disassemble cairns. Other days I just cruise through and let it be.

(BTW, if you google fairy village you can find some pretty funny shit)

is that an indicator you will be removing it? My wife said it has been there more than a month.

It was still there as of Saturday, but more strewn about than before. I cannot touch it because my son will tell my wife....
