Thanks, For Google Photos, while I thought I had the photos set right, the folder was still not shareable. Have to ensure that the Folder is shareable. This can be found under the three dots, then Options, select "Link Sharing". From there, you can share links to individual photos inside that folder. |

^^^ The battle was already over. The Tarantula Hawk Wasp has paralyzed the tarantula and is dragging it backward to its den, where it will lay an egg on its abdomen. The egg will hatch and the wasp larva will proceed to eat the still-living tarantula from the inside out, avoiding major organs to prolong the banquet for a few weeks. The stuff of nightmares, and the Alien movies. |

Attachment: Also saw this California Kingsnake hanging motionless in a bush near the big rocks where everyone takes a break at Calavera. My first thought was some ignoramus had recently killed it and thrown it in the bushes, but it was too glossy and healthy looking. It was just sunning itself. Cool visual effect — when I touched it to check it disappeared down a hole faster than any snake I’ve ever seen — the brown and yellow bands blurred into a milk chocolate streak! I didn’t expect it could get enough traction on the brush to do that, but it might have been pretty long and already had a good portion down the hole. |

It posed 15 feet away until I got my phone out. Then decided to take off...

You’ve seen me sit on this stool. This is NOT a 3 sigma ant mound in this area (near Flaming Gorge).
