After a month of multiple parts being on backorder :x , my Tallboy should be shipping out today. The anticipation is killing me! My wife has made plans for my birthday this weekend and I may not have a chance to take the new bike out. Kind of bummed, (unless she bought me tickets to Metallica ha ha) but some things I guess you need to wait for.

This is going to be like learning how to ride a bike again. I have only ridden a bike with suspension and anything other than thumb shifters during the demo ride! I am hoping that I can sneak away on Sunday to ride the Black Mountain route in Ramona as the weekend after this one I am racing at Hurkey Creek. I really don't want my first full-on ride to be a race! Uh, how do I shift, uh..bounce bounce bounce CRASH! I will post some pics of my clean, new bike when it arrives!

Mike

Ok, the bike is sitting in my living room waiting for me when I get home. Now, all I need to do is figure out how to put it together. Disc brakes, what? Shocks, what? carbon, huh? I feel stupid.

Congrats on the new bike! I have heard nothing but good things about the Tallboy.

PM bjammin or The Chainring on here (same guy) and get the bike built by a professional.

Been riding my Tallboy since Nov. '09 and it has been solid......hell, even sold my Heckler because the Tallboy took over most of the riding time....plus I was able to do 90% of what I could ride on the Heckler with the Tallboy.....very versatile.

I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

Have since swapped the Arch's for silver Blunts, the Shadow V saddle for a White Siverado, and WHite ESI Chunky grips.
