Nice!

I have the RWS thru bolt skewers and 240s hubs and I really like them. I used to bend axles all the time.....I also like the convience and beefier quality of the 10mm RWS bolt ....quick release is primitive to me now (no more futzing back and forth to get the right clamp tension).

You added 1+ pounds of rotating weight (slime tubes)? Are you done with tubeless or is the setup just for a desert run.....what gives?

I run the Slime tubes specifically for the added weight. When I have races or events that I want to do well in or have a good finishing time I will switch back over to tubeless. I know I might jinx myself but I can't remember the last time I had a flat, even with the slime tubes. I do enjoy the better performance and lighter weight of tubeless, but don't have to have it all the time.

Darryl - The bike looks sick bro. I think the Kermit green even looks better than the Tang!

Me too Larry. The Kermit Green quickly grew on me, and it has now defeated the Tang.

Smart move Darryl. It's always made me wonder why so many people want to train in race fashion (when it comes to weight for the most part). I guess I learned from watching the cycling team riding in Colorado Springs (while I was training there) that training in less than optimal conditions puts you in a potentially better position when race time comes. I'm stoked to see you understand that. At least you know how to do what you want and don't follow in everyone elses footsteps like a little puppy like some people........

Absolutely QS. Anybody who wants to be good at anything needs to realize that the harder you make training/practice, the easier the "race" will be. It also helps that we're all riding bikes, you just can't go wrong riding a bike.

After seeing the bike in person today i am convinced that i will get an Air 9 in the near future. I was looking at the Jones but i think the Air 9 will serve me better. Nice bike.

PM me if you are ever interested in a large size Air9 frame. Now that I've become a complete full suspension pussy, I'm thinking about going to a RIP9 and can't justify two 29ers (yet).

BTW - have you seen their new rigid carbon forks? Such sweet sweet candy.....drool.....
