I've been gathering parts since late November to build up a Nordest Bardino 3. Can't fully explain my reasoning for this frame. But I liked the geometry, style, color, etc.

Build will hopefully happen this week, but here's a little previous of some of the parts.

The suspense is killing me.

Here was the start of today. Couple parts aren't shown in this photo. Didn't quite finish, still need to cut the brake lines to length and they are unrideably long.

That is beautiful; I wish my garage floor was coated like that.

Curious, why would you want this coated on your garage floor?

^^^ That might be what happened when he totaled up the receipts.

Who knows what has stained my unprotective garage floor over the years?

When you get a chance, post some pics so we can see the details :D

Seriously - nice build. You can have your own HardTail Party. But importantly, how does it ride?!

Nice job! Too bad you ran through some blue paint with the new tires

Wow, this thing can climb! Not sure which part contributes the most, but I was able to easily clear the steep of camber "culvert" climb. With the seat post angle (74) and short chainstay (425) it puts a ton of weight right on the tire for what seems like unlimited traction. With the Versus tires and AXS shifter, there was unlimited traction and when I wanted a do2nshift it was a simple tap of the shifter.

On the descending side, I'm still dialing in the fork and slowly learning it's handling, but I'm already starting to see some PR's, but it feels like a nice sweet spot for me. Some have said that I seem to ride Woodie better than the Hightower, just not as fast, with this I'm able to ride more like I do on the rigid, but with speed closer to the full sus.
