it was fun it was painful there were some stops but i still enjoy riding it :) i do like how lively the rear end feels when there's no squish to it and having one gear is nice...no shifting to worry about and cursing why there's no shifting.

I do notice that riding my geared bike helps w/ my stamina/endurance while riding this sucker helps w/ my strength...i think in the long run the SS would be good for both but for now if i ride my SS too much it seems like i stop too much because i have to keep my heart from jumping out of my chest so it's not like i'm running a sustained high HR

Awesome! You got to love that welcome back ride after some time apart. No SS for me, someday I'll understand the love hate relationship of not having a choice of gears.

i don't hate mine at all. the only thing that bugs is when i hit that super steep section and can't push the pedals anymore.

dont you love that feeling? when you're standing up out of your saddle pulling on your bar and mashing down and the dam thing isnt going anywhere

chuck norris has a single speed. if his cranks stop turning, its not because he's weak, its because he was pedaling against the rotation of the earth and it stopped turning.
