World's Most Expensive Tea is Panda-Fertilized
"The world of high-end caffeinated beverages continues to get weirder and weirder. First the world's most expensive coffee was made from beans, ahem, processed by wild cats. Now the plants that produce the world's most expensive tea are being fertilized by Panda feces.

According to World News Australia, An Yashi, the tea's developer and a college lecturer at Sinchuan University, believes the brew could fetch a price of close to £50,000 per kilo," which is about $36,000 per pound. Pandas have a very poor digestive system and only absorb about 30 percent of everything they eat. That means their excrement is rich in fibers and nutrients," Yashi said.

According to Yashi, the tea has many health benefits. The bamboo in the panda-produced fertilizer purportedly has the same cancer-fighting element as green tea. By growing the tea in the enhanced fertilizer, Yashi hypothesizes that it will further increase the tea's "anti-cancer effects."

What do you think about this panda poo-fertilized tea? Would you drink it?"
