Getting recharged for Saturday. Funny, my wife seems amazed when I forget she doesn’t like strawberries, or that tulips are her favorite flower, yet buys me this when I’ve said many times I don’t like flavored beers. What’s more important, huh?! Now I wish I’d gotten a growler of the Beav’s Ride the Pine IPA when I was there a couple of days ago. Now THAT was good!

TGIF ‘Treaders!

Waiting? Inconceivable! Start drinking!

Yeah, no, not waiting on
the drinking part.

It’s storming where they are hiking.

Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout is one of the few stouts I don't like. A sip or two is good but after that it's far too sweet for me.

A delicious pair of stouts with lunch, in that order, after a fun ride. And that last strip of bacon you can’t let go uneaten.

Sippin’ a Texas copper pot whiskey from a small stainless steel flask under a moonless sky.

A Serpent’s Stout at the Lost Abbey Sanctuary in San Elijo Hills. I didn’t know this place existed. Small but nice, with an outdoor patio. Would be good after a ride at Denk.

A nice time of evening to relax in the cool ocean breeze with a basic IPA.
