Yep, blues rock and Hendrix are as American as apple pie. And if you’d like frybread with your pie, this guy also does some really good electric Hendrix covers (including playing the Star Spangled Banner a few months ago for the Phoenix Suns). But I especially like this acoustic cover. |

Thanks. ^^^ So sorry he’s gone. I hadn’t even heard of him until he disappeared a year ago, and then I listened to everything I could find. Sad there won’t be more. Here’s one of the last recordings of him I believe, where he’s just enjoying playing old time music with his friends. That’s his best friend Matt Kinman on banjo, who stayed with him and did all he could to keep him hanging on to this life. |
