[Again, I had no idea. How did I not know about this guy? I saw him in the concert movie Summer of Soul last night ( aka “the Black Woodstock” from Harlem 1969, unreleased for 50 years) and knew I had to do a deeper dive. I thought I knew blues musicians pretty well, but somehow I missed Frank Frost, who was a popular blues harp player in the 60’s & 70’s, but died in 1999. Here’s an excellent album of his — classic blues, just harmonica. guitar & drums.
