Anyone using one? Have one?
After my son landed face first into a granite boulder, he just purchased one and I'm thinking of getting one myself.
If you have one, do you like it and why? Much more protection where you need it and I think it won't be too hot, for me, at least.

It's up to you and what you're comfortable with.

Personally, unless I'm riding race pace like a bike park DH where I may be able to get my arms out in time in the event of a crash, I don't think they're worth wearing. At normal pace riding you should be able to get your arms out, shoulder up or leapfrog the bars if you go OTB. I've only had my face contact the ground a couple times in 25 yrs of riding. Both times I was wearing a full face but it wouldn't have done much damage. You're more likely to break a wrist or a hand in a crash. I've done both. With the temps we ride in here it's generally not worth it IMO.

I'll wear a FF when riding in the bike park with lift access.

I haven't explored the modular or highly vented models.

I have one. Rarely wear. And was not wearing the two times that I should have been....

It will retain it's place in the bike bin, but as I age, the chances of wearing it become less and less.

The convertible ones make sense for several reasons.

I have had the Fox Proframe since 2017 or 18. I personally only wear it in bike parks or places like Mt Wilson but it is VERY comfortable and gets great air flow. If there was a law passed tomorrow that required us to wear full faces, I could wear the Proframe with no real complaints. I think most people that wear the Troy Lee Stage would say the same. Not sure how often you go the Greer but the # of riders wearing full faces has exploded out there as people push the envelope more and more. Same with Ted's. We even saw 5-6 guys wearing them at Tunnels/DMM a few weeks back.
