^^^ well, I’ve been down that rabbit hole before, and went again, it’s endless. There are some really implausible ones, and some classics, but I’m going with these two as the most true to Hank’s spirit.

There's a commercial on TV that has some background music that reminded me of a band a friend/colleague introduced me to. He was from Argentina, as are the Los Fronterizos, an Argentine folk band, with El quiaqueño.

That was a nice 10 minutes, dig trumpets.

Remember that nice song from the early 2000s, Swing Life Away, by Rise Against. Acoustic guitar, sing-songy, swinging melody. "We live on front porches and swing life away..." I heard that song on the radio and went to BestBuy to buy the CD; not knowing anything else about Rise Against. Got back to my pickup, popped the CD in, and turned up the volume and got this first track on the album. And I was, HELL YEAH!

More accurately reflects my feelings recently. :bang:

Nice. She does an insanely wide range of things - check her Wiki entry! I think the Carolina Chocolate Drops are cool, and I’m listening to her on The New Basement Tapes right now while I work.

I can't get enough of this guy. Not sure how old he was when this was made, but he was born in 1996.

Really like that Marcus King. Appears to be a young man with an old soul.
