Ha! One of my friends had an owl encounter, followed her for like half a mile and tried to grab her hairbun while running. Owls are mean!

^^^ What kind? I haven’t had a great horned owl at my house in a few years, but I hear screech owls regularly, and occasionally catch a ghostly glimpse of them at night.

I have not seen them close enough to know what type. They are very vocal, not large and seem to have a nest in a group of palm trees.
