I know someone who has one of those signs up in his garage.... Must have fallen off a post.

Honestly it is a shame those signs are littering the preserve, they expired in 1998.... 20 years ago.

I wondered where the other one went!

Looks like survey sticks going up on Northwestish side where the seniors housing will go, but the good news is the Shea-Lennar deal fell thru which is the lion's share of the land.

UPDATE - July 2018: West’s inability to satisfy its contingencies resulted in termination of the Cantarini Ranch transaction by Shea-Lennar. The MBK purchase of West Living (the company and its improved/operating seniors housing properties) closed; the Dos Colinas property (vacant land entitled for a 305-unit CCRC) was not included in the sale.

Good info and thanks for posting it up.
Do you have a link I can check out?

Weird that Shea and Lennar are teaming up since Lennar just bought CalAtlantic not long ago

Sure here's the link;

http://www.cantarini-hollysprings.com/cantarini-hollysprings.com/Intro_%26_Updates.html

Must be some weird issues with most of the property, it seems to keep coming down to "contingencies", maybe environmental issues with it being too pristine ;)

EDIT: Better info on this page refer to Shea CalAtlantic

Thanks
Just found that page and CalAtlantic & Shea merged/bought out a while ago and then Lennar bought CalAtlantic.

If I purchased a CalAltantic home there in the future will I be able to ride out my door? :ninja:
At least we wouldn't have to drink on the curb but can move to my backyard

Is one of the contingencies building the College connector? I figured that would have started by now with the horses gone etc.

There are rare little frogs and salamanders that live in the creek where the road would go, god bless them forever!

Maybe we should grow these type of species in our backyards so they can be 'found' at future sites...

I don't know/use the supposed trail names out here like some of you but somebody somewhere obviously dumped something into the drainage system because the water crossing across the perimeter fire road in the far S/E corner (before you do the twisty climb up to the Air Mail pole) looks like it's full of orange rust floating on the waters surface. It's NASTY and I came "this close" to stepping in it after losing my balance while crossing it.

That creek’s located along the sewer main and sometimes gets a pump station overflow, although I don’t know if that’s the case this time. I see the orange scum there regularly.

Barf... Does that mean the orange scum is percolated shit oil?
