Soooo, as we get closer to our end-of-summer trip to the Eastern Sierras, I just learned of another great ride near where we stay. Downieville, Mills Peak in Graeagle (where we stay), and now Mt. Hough near Quincy are all on the docket. Yeehaw! :D

Nice, I saw that video a few months back while researching our trip. When are you heading up? We're going Sept 6-9 this year after the Labor Day crowds go home. My only issue is Quincy is 90 minutes one way from D-Ville.

Ha! Funny. We'll be there the same time. Maybe we'll run into you.

I called up to Yuba Expeditions. They are going to start running their Mills Peak shuttle next week on Fri-Sat-Sun but from Graeagle and not Downieville. They will do it mid-week if there are a minimum of 5-6 riders prepaid. They have a permit to run Mt Hough shuttles as well and hope to start them in the near future. It sounds like they will be run from Graeagle as well.

You probably already know this but Downieville Outfitters runs a Mills Peak shuttle for $40 pp (4 person minimum) where they drop you at Mills Peak, pick you up in Graeagle and then drop you off at Packer Saddle for a run back into D-Ville. We did that last year, best day by far.

These guys run a shuttle out at Mt Hough from downtown Quincy. https://www.featherriveroutdoors.com/bike-shuttle.html
