I'm still not entirely clear as to how I crashed, but the bike is Ok, I have some scratched and a big bruise on my shoulder, and will be needing a new helmet, but otherwise Ok, even my Ego, because I lost that someplace on the first climb...

Wow!
Didn’t think you went down that
hard. You shook it off well.
Where were the people that you
we’re riding with? You look like you
we’re alone?

Yeah, it was way harder than it should have been. Still have no idea what happened, almost like a ghost reached out and grabbed the wheel.

The other guys I was riding with were so far ahead they didn't realize I had crashed.

Oh dear...

Mathew... WTF!? When we met back up at the trucks, I saw those raspberries on your knees and wondered how you earned them...but THAT's what happened? You defied what is possible!

Thanks for leaving the groans in though. So much better!!

Had my own little crash today. First in a while. No sustainable damage thankfully. .....Unlike my bout of Montezuma's revenge mid-ride. Ugh...

But thanks so much for the spare shop-towel Harley! In-fucking-valuable! But you know how I despise a debt hanging over my head. I am compelled to return your property asap.It is freshly laundered and ready to be returned.
