Well the wife and I bought this product a year ago or so but never tried it. Last night we had some teriyaki beef skewers that i grilled and thought what a good compliment to have that w/ rice. So it comes in this sturdy MRE style pouch that you bowl water and let it sit for 3 minutes open and pour over rice. Dammit if this doesnt taste great! So good that I just came back from Ranch 99 and bought 6 more of these and eating this for lunch!

What kind of rice are you guys cooking with? We've been eating some California grown brown rice lately that's great. I haven't had curry since I was last in Japan back in '90. I think I'll do a search for some recipes, if anyone has any more recomendations please send 'em over.

we use jasmine rice but calrose is pretty good.

I just found out today that the curry that i originally posted about is what's served at The Curry House in Irvine and LA...apparently the parent company that makes this prepackaged curry (House) owns The Curry House chain so everything that you eat at the restaurant is pre-made

We had one along time ago, and I don't know what happened to it, so last month we picked up another. Man, the best (easiest) way to cook rice for sure. I'm gonna have to go to costco, I haven't been there in awhile. I mean. we've got a card and all, why not use it?!
