Nice riding with you again Jose & Daniel.

I added Marbles to my list of "nemesis trails." Which means I need to go back and keep doing it over until I get it right.

I didn't see any news stories about nighttime rescues of lost MTBers in the area, so I assume that guy heading out at sunset who "didn't know the area" and his wife/GF found their way back.

Because of the unexpected amount of rain and since the Bonita/Chula Vista trails don't dry fast so we are getting I'm changing tomorrows ride to higher grounds, meet at the end of Paseo Veracruz at 5:00 and come ready to climb at slow pace(for me).

Bummer. I was so looking forward to trying Rockhouse on the SS.

edit: According to wunderground.com, it just hit 100 in Santee. "Only" 91 in Bonita.

Let me know if you still want to go, I'm riding anyway, I just didn't see any takers and was thinking because of the heat.
Otay Lakes could be another option :)
If you're coming for sure we'll ride.

I'm OK with doing Otay since we did Sweetwater last week. But either way, let me know where to meet. See you at 5:00.

Let's meet at Mountain Hawk Park at the northeast corner of Olimpic Parkway and Wueste Road at 5:00; we'll do the whole Otay Lakes tour.

Whatever dude, I know deep inside you wish you have the option to ride that trail and since you love it so much here's a recycled picture just for you :)

Awesome ride with Frank(Random Walk), good pace, nice breeze, a couple of tarantulas, an almost dead rabbit and 17 miles of fun :)

Great ride as always Jose. You had me spinning out on the single track trying to keep up. It's nice to follow a local and not have to think about where I'm going. That will be a fun night ride.

^^^lol

We did pass by a rabbit that was having convulsions on the side of the trail. Jose thinks it was victim of a rattlesnake bite.
