I need a Costco beer alert for Mission Valley, La Mesa, or Santee because my supplies are getting perilously low.

I made the mistake of stopping by Super Jr. Market today on my lunch break -- I could spend more on 1 bottle there than what I pay for a case of very good beer at Costco.

Picked up a cool craft beer newspaper there, called the West Coaster.

New info alert (If I'd have know this years ago it would have saved me a lot).

If you hit Ballast Point and buy a case of 22 ouncers (12), you get 20% off.

You need to stick with all of the same class of beers for the discount (I.E. you can't mix Black Marlin with Sea Monster but you can mix Black Marlin and Big Eye bottles)

12-22 ouncers, roughly 40.00 with discount (3.30 something per 22 ouncer)

Good deal there. Better than Costco because you can pick the mix.

Thanks. I suppose I should stop by and try some of their beers again. I usually don't drive past my normal brewery that I talk with the owner everytime I'm in and sometimes get tasters of special releases coming up.

Thanks. Does Ballast Point offer deals at the brewery on cases of 12 oz. bottles?

I am not sure.
After going to Home Brew Mart/Ballast Point for years, the other day I was having a few tasters and asked "What's the most economical way for me to buy..." and was told "Oh, you get 20% off if you buy a case of 22 ouncers. "

It *is* Friday so I may stop by and ask this evening.

Carmel Mtn Ranch Costco had a pallet of the Ballast bombers today.
$29.99.......a variety pack of 2 Sculpin, 2 Big Eye, 2 Callico, 2 Black Marlin.

Last year the Poway Costco had everything under the sun....from Lost Abbey to Green Flash for Father's Day. I am going to Lightning this Friday and may swing by Costco to check it out again.

Mission Valley Costco has cases of Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA for $23.79 (20 cents less per case than the Pale Ale).

Local breweries are also well represented: Mixed cases of Ballast Point; several varieties of Green Flash in bombers; Iron Fist bombers; Ale Smith bombers; and plenty of Stone product.

Decisions, decisions -- what do I drink tonight? Torpedo, Green Flash Double Stout, or Stone Ruinten?

I'm trying to track down the Ballast Point 12 oz variety pack at Costco. The Carlsbad and Vista store had it last week but replaced it with the Sam Adams Winter pack. Anyone know if they have the BP at the Santee/Poway/Carmel Mountain/Escondido store? I got put on beer detail for Thanksgiving and a 30 pack of Coors light won't cut it with this crowd.

The Mission Valley Costco had a couple pallets of that on Friday, 11/22.
