I have the installation document for this adaptor and it says, aluminum frame only. I will bring it to you this Sunday.

Ali

I will try to find a picture now as well and send to you.

Stupid question: What are those two eyelets designed to do originally? They look awful weak to try to mount a caliper to, especially with such a long bracket... I'm just thinking the leverage on those two eyelets... kinda scary...

I think the adaptor will fit yours too. If you look at the dropouts? They are suppose to be flat so the adaptor will fit right. See you soon.

The large eyelet is for your quick release axle to go through. Yes, it is not a very beefy design, but some who have used it are happy, but lining it to a point so your brake doesn't rub requires good amount of paitent.

When do you want to pick it up Jose? Today or tomorrow? If it fits, just pay me what I paid for it which is $35 from this guy at STTRAIL RIDERS.

Trek makes a bracket that goes through the holes on the rear triangle by the drop out. Originally, Hayes had a deal to put brakes on their bikes. Older GF and some others have the same holes.

P/N: 210648

There are a couple of MTBR threads on it.

here's one: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=370835

Trek send me a picture of that part but not sure it will work, I'll see if they'll have it in stock.
