Any NC peeps have a set I could use? My Raceface BB bearings are crunchy and I'd prefer to replace the bearings only with better quality ones from RWC/Enduro rather than buying another RF BB with their less than ideal bearings. Otherwise, I'll probably buy new cups from Enduro w/ bearings already fitted. Obviously, much cheaper to just replace the bearings in the existing cups though.

I think in most cases you can get them out of the cups without a puller if you're careful and patient (one beer limit), but it's probably worth it to just buy the new cups & bearings from RWC Enduro to save the frustration.

Bring to Fluid Focus in San Marcos. He trued up my road wheels in a day and was very reasonably priced.

If you had everything prepped, it would probably take about an hour if you scheduled an appointment.

Thanks. I think I can just tap them out with a screwdriver and hammer and insert with grease and a vise. It's worked for my other bearing replacements, so what the hey.

In the past I've "pressed it in" with a long bolt, spacers, and washers which worked fine.
Just don't go too fast and make sure it's aligned

Check Wheels Manufacturing BB's, really smart design for PF frames.

Thanks Fred, but it's not press fit. Although, they do have nice threaded BB's too, which would have been the simple solution. However, I went ahead and ordered only the bearings from Wheels Manufacturing. And also a bearing puller and press tools as well. The vice is nice, but isn't always the best answer. I'll be glad to have those particular tools in the arsenal.
