Hello everyone!

Sorry, it's been ages since I posted. Mainly b/c I forgot my password and couldn't log in. Finally realized that the password recovery was being sent to my spam folder. Sometimes we think we are smart for solving a hard problem and get humbled for having difficulty on something simple.

Those who haven't ridden Downieville need to come up and ride it. Best trails ever!

My 2013 SC Nomad is getting replaced by a new beast.

I'm halfway through my build and am waiting for a new headset.
I ordered the wrong headset thinking the headtube was the same size as the previous model. This is the stage that it's at (link below). Waiting for the headset to come in.

Below are the pics of the frame.

Frame: 2016 Nomad CC size medium
Shock: 2015 vivid air
Fork: 2016 Lyrik 180mm
Wheels: Easton Arch30 laced to Hope Pro II Evo
Driver Train: Sram 11spd X1, and XX mix
Bars/Stem: Easton Havoc
Seatpost: SRAM Reverb
Headset: Chris King Inset 3
Seat: SDG
Pedals: CB Mallet 3
Brakes: Hopes V4 with 200mm rotors front/back
Tires: Maxxis DHF front/back

Once the bike is finished and I ride it, I'll post a video and give an update on how it performs compared to the 2013 Nomad.

If you still don't know what my stove is for, I'm a chemist.

Abdullah! Killer build. Start posting more again.

I'll be riding d-Ville this week (long story, but I'm here).

Are you riding this weekend or during the week? If you are up there this weekend, I can come up and join you.

Is this gonna happen? Cuz I really wanna see the movie: "Yellow Thang: Day of Evil".

[better: "D'ville Evil"]

I just finished building the bike on Friday before work. Today, I'm going to ride it in Oakland at Joquin Miller Park, and Sunday I'll test it out at UC Santa Cruz area. Hopefully my buddy will let me borrow his gopro and I'll post up the video.

I have added the complete bike to the album.

Some changes were made from my original plan. I couldn't get the cassette off the hub, so instead of using my Arch30's, I built a new wheelset set using my old Hope Pro II's laced to Stan's ZTR Flow MK3 rims using Phill Wood triple butted spokes. I bought the Stan's ZTR Flow Mk3 b/c I couldn't find Arch30's for sale anywhere, and because the ZTR Flows were really cheap.
