Because I just checked mine after a couple months of riding, thought I'd remind those running tubeless to check you "juice".

Mine was okay, I love Orange Seal, it just seems to last longer than Stans, I added a ounce to each tire anyway.

Since it is raining again, what method do you use to refill? I use the break the seal a bit, pour in the flap, and floor pump like crazy method.

I like to break the seal and peek in to have a look-see. I have the valve stem filler but you can't see so you're guessing with that method. Having a 220V two phase air compressor helps the seating too

In the past I used Stan's but this last go round when I had to swap out rims I used Orange seal. i was surprised to see it was dried up and coating the inner walls. No boogers just a coating. Not sure if that would seal a puncture or not

I remove the valve core and squirt it in from a cheap plastic syringe, which I fill from the red Stan's scoop. No bead breaking. About 1 1/2 to 2 scoops every three months. I stole the syringe from the kitchen drawer but you can buy online too. Cut the tip back so it just fits the stem. Too small and the Stan's will seal it!

I will try this. My compressor needs replacing...

I took a stans one serving bottle and cut the tip so that it just barely screws on the valve stem after I remove the core

You can probably get something like this pretty cheap at Walmart or Smart & Final, then cut the tip to the proper size:

Bump for a juice check. My tires dried out and the gash in the sidewall started to leak. Threw a tube in to get home, removed tube, topped of sealant and glitter (Yes glitter helps) and sealed up instantly.

*Bump* You wouldn’t want to forget to do this, pull out your backup tube, and then have to walk your bike out because that tube leaked…

Then you open that tiny blue box and there is only one patch left and a dried-up tube of cement.. But wait that Bic has a few flicks in it and just enough to hot patch that tube on a rock. F that walk out!

Check the integrity of your tubeless valve stems and your spare tubes. That's what ultimately caused me to walk out.

Oh and XC shoes are NOT meant for WALKING....

So my new bike came set up with Muc Off in the tires. I just checked their website which says this:

“How often should you add tubeless sealant to your tyres?
It all depends how often you ride! If you’re riding at least 1-2 times a week, the sealant should last as long as the tyre does.”

Does anyone believe this? Do any of you use Muc Off and can vouch for it? :?:

I have moved years ago from Stan's because of large boogers forming and been using Orange seal with great results. Surprisingly, when I change a tire there is still liquid inside after months from the last refill, if the tire lasts that long which is another topic. Never tried their sealant but I love their Valve stems
