After riding Sequoia this fall, there was no doubt my next bike was going to be an AM/Lite FR bike. Something over 6" travel, <35 lbs, still able to climb, but not billy goat like my RIP. While I was at it: external BB, tubeless, coil TA front, 22-36 compact crank, and 4 piston binders. And since I haven't built a complete bike, I took a few months to spec out all the components the way I wanted them and at the price I wanted them. So after I took all day Friday to build it up, today was time to get it dirty and start dialing it in for Moab. But what better than to hit up some new trail while I'm at it?

The hiked sucked, views decent

I think I see my house in that first pic!! Nice to see it complete instead of in pieces in your garage. :D

Sorry I had to flake today. I've always meant to check out that North ridge line.

Let's go get it dirty again this Saturday--same bike, same trails!!

It's 5 min from my house over in SDCE, but I can't find a name for it. You'll have to ask Pacman if you can come play on his turf.

There's so many trails out here, I don't know if I'll ever get them all ridden. I'll throw it out there again: anytime any DTers want to ride, let me know. I'm happy to lead a tour. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are best for me. Friday afternoons/evenings once Daylight Savings kicks in as well.

Don't fall for it. They just don't want to have to drive back to San diego to ride

Sean, bike looks sweet. You get the rear shock dialled? My legs are still worked from yesterdays work & ride.
