Got my new shoes.

CLOSEOUT $69.00
I was only able to test the right shoe because my left heel is broken. I asume the left would preform similarly.
the uppers are suade, which I love. The tongue is thick padded and one peice with the shoe.

The soles are classic Five Ten, thick and stiff. Stance is wide giving the feeling of stability. Best grip is on rough asphalt. Concrete is good. Smooth tile is bad, and I would guess wet smooth tile would be slick. Grip on flat pedles with studs is amazing!

OK for walking (hopping) around in. For hiking I would recomend softer inserts with arch suport.

Great for chillen or grillen.

They got a little warm after a few hours.

Over all great shoe!

Good shoe review, and as far as I know, DT's first ever shoe videos. If you have extra time on your hands, you could do a stop-motion video where the shoes appear to tie themselves, and then go for a walk...

I suspect they will grip to your tile better once you wear them in. They are a little slick at first.
