Anyone got an opinion on which fork I would be best off buying? Rock Shox Revelation RCT3 150mm or Fox Float 32 150mm?

I would have said the FOX but the CTD tech pretty much sucks, especially on the fork.
If you get a Float RC2 or something without CTD then I'd go with FOX.

I just got the RCT3 140mm for my latest build and so far nothing but smiles! I'm still playing with the settings to find that sweet spot. I had a Fox float and didn't have any issues with it. One big reason i went with RS this time was the savings (plus NOTB deal for DT's)! I can not speak for the new CTD from Fox but haven't heard anything bad about it. Good luck!

I have the RS Revelation and it is one of the best fucking forks I have ever owned!
I played around with the Fox 32 in Bike bling and it's a POS.
N10sive can give you a second opinion on that fork, because he said that it was a POS when he played with it at Bike bling.

808rider has a Fox 32 or 34 on his bike and that thing started to leak out all of its oil riding at Skidz.

not sure if I agree with you on this one. the pic clearly shows that the fork made you overshoot the jump.

x-fusion ... rode both vengeance and velvet..damn nice (and cheaper).

Yes, I agree that I did overshoot the jump, b/c I normally ride my Demo 8 and wasn't used to the lite weight of the pitch.

I also agree that the X-fusion forks are fucking butter and priced really well.
The X-fusion rear shock I own is still butter after owning it for 5 years.

I am a pretty big fox fan, and the CTD on showroom bikes just feels like crap. Maybe with adjustments you can dial it in but I wouldn't get a fox fork with CTD. The fork on Abzillah pitch is nice, handled awesome at skidz. People on Pinkbike are always complaining they want more adjustments on the CTD forks.

I would still go with Fox but get something with a FIT RC2.

I put a Revelation RCT3 on my Ibis and have been happy with it.

It replaced a Fox float 32 that was starting to show show bushing damage on the stanction legs.

Same thing happened to the fox 36 on my knolly. Despite owning it for less than a year Fox refused to help at all and quoted $550 to fix it. So I bought a new Totem for not much more than that - problem solved!

Anyone need a Float 32 or Talas 36 for parts, let me know. I don't plan on putting any more fox products on my bikes.

I have a friend who will sell his Fox 32 Float 150mm for $300. It has brand new uppers, and a couple of scratches on the lowers.

Thanks for all of the opinions. I was kinda leaning toward the Revelation before this post and now I'm pretty sure that's what I'm gonna go for. Seems like a lot of people buy based on name, not on performance.
