after 3 or 4 years of flawless performance, my i950 has started slipping up maybe 1/4 to 1/2 an inch when at the bottom of travel. It sounds like maybe there is some air in the shock as it gives that squishy gurgley sound at the bottom. This happens even when the cable is disconnected so I don't think it's just the lever getting 1/2 pulled or anything.

Anyone ever have this? Can you service the internals / replace fluid like a front fork or is it best left to kind shock to fix it up?

Good question. Mine has been fixed once under warranty. I'll inevitably need to do it myself eventually. Google just failed me...

Thanks Jeremy. I'm going to cut and paste that into a file I can save until I need it.

Not sure if it's permanently fixed or not, but it stays all the way down again.

All I did was clean and lube it, which I assume would have nothing to do with it staying down, and then afterwards left it fully compressed and didn't ride for a couple of weeks. Noticed on my last 2 rides it's back to working normally - maybe the air managed to work it's way back out after sitting, or maybe the post is just waiting to start popping up 1/2 inch again on my next ride.
