Thoughts on helmet/action cams? Rather not buy a GoPro. Something $200 or under.

Nope, bought it used it twice and it's been sitting ever since. Maybe someone can use it.

Looks like I'm gonna go for this guy when I get some cash. http://replayxd.com/cameras/replay-xd1080-camera/

Seems to get good reviews on pic quality and all around performance. May still suffer shit audio like most of these do. What I found appealing is that its smaller, lighter and more rugged than any of the others. it also gives you vibration feedback when you push buttons so you don't have to guess if its on or not.

here's a pretty great cam comparison that helped me out http://www.dropzone.com/news/Gear/Best_ ... d_854.html

That review made that Sony Cam look pretty good. Almost got me to go buy one today. LOL

I did see that one. Looks like a great idea. I was also intending on using this cam for other purposes but I do see one of those in my future as well!

I got a pair of pivothead sunglasses for Christmas, got to use them for the first time this past weekend, I still need to work on editing and setting it up when I turn it on, I had the auto focus on so it came out a little weird, you can take pics while your recording, here's my run down T and A's this was my second ride in four months, towards the end I could barely hold the bars.
I have youtube doing a shake edit to it.
