I found that 30-35 up front, depending on conditions and 35 in back works good for me. For example, tacky hard pack(la Costa after the rain), run 35. Sandy loose conditions(all over SD most of the time) run around 30. It's easy to let air out, so start with 35 and if your sliding out, let a little out.

I run 30 in the front and 35 in the rear with Navegals, and I weight about 185, so with gear I'm about 195lbs.

Yeah, most of us are gonna say drop your pressure to make that front stick, altho some will also say drop the Nevegals.

I'm not a big fan of MTB Action magazine, but they had an article on pressures, with a chart that is pretty good in my opinion (may have been posted in another thread). Don't overlook the comments below the chart. It's for tubeless, so maybe add a couple psi (at most) for tubes.

Speaking of tubeless, I think a majority on DT favor it, with a few vocal Luddites opposed. You can convert even non-UST Nevegals to tubeless with a little more work. Worth it IMO.

Cool thanks for the info. I've been on the fence about going tubeless for a while

The side wall has the recommended pressure, start at the low end.
