Does anyone know which direction of the LSC knob is soft/firm.

I assumed in toward the + is firm (clockwise) and out is softer.

But after re-reading the info on the website it seem it may be the opposite. Mow I'm really confused.

Does anyone know which way is soft/firm?

Thanks for the help…

I don't have a Talas... but every fork I've ever owned it was clockwise (aka IN) to make it stiffer.

Easy setup: set the sag 25% and rebound in the middle, 10 clicks ride it at 5 clicks; then ride the bike with comp max in one direction, ride same trail again with comp in opposite direction and get a feel for what the fork does differently. Next set comp' in the middle and ride again with rebound slowest then rebound fastest, that'll give you enough info to get it right, focus on feel and not speed when you do your field testing. Pros test these forks and what they recommend may not apply to the not so fast folks like you and I. Good luck and ride on.
LSC is for the first part of the stroke, + is firm, you'll feel the chatter of small bumps.

The + should be more dampening, and the - less dampening.
