The family and I are driving up to Santa Barbara for the weekend to see family. I'm from there so I know the area real well. If anybody else is going or if you've never been and need a guide, PM me and we can get some dirt under the tires together. I'll be riding with Noah, 'Zark' from RideMonkey.

For those that don't know me, I ride with DFT for the most part (in fact I was supposed to be with him at LPQ the day RHS crashed); drops, stunts, steeps and rocks is what we like. DFT gets to ride much more than me since he's single and I'm married with a 4 year old girl.

Thanks,
tom

Noah (Zark) will probably take you down San Ysidro. Wear full shin guards and maybe install brush guards on your handlebar. :)
The overgrown thorny thristles (sp?) will eat your skin up and goes right through the gloves.

I hope you guys do an all-day extravaganza like we did two weeks ago in SB. The new Knapps is a blast. Tunnel is always sadistic fun. Would love to go this weekend but I've got two big rides planned down here.

Say hi to the SB crew for me.

I ride with Noah when I can. The problem is since he works at Bicycle Bob's now and he is always at work on Saturday. He needs to get back into the 9-5 weekday work schedule.

I rode SB front range on Memorial Day weekend and skipped SY. I rode Cold Spring and Tunnel multiple times, and rode up Romero down CS... I'll hit SY this time and you are right the brush up top can be bad. Knapps is tough for me to get to sometimes because pickup is on the other side.

Say hi to Shrymp. You have one or two kids now?

It was seriously awful at SY upper section. The lower chunks made it worthwhile though. So many ninja lines.

Will do. Still on the first kiddo... have a blast at SB.
PM me for some riding down here.
