Hey Dirt Treaders, some of you may know me already as bjammin, but I'm here to introduce my business. Going forward I will be offering a $10 of discount on all tune ups for DT'ers and free pick-up and delivery as well. (no matter where!)

Here's a little info on what I do:

The ChainRing
Professional Bicycle Service
Mobile, Pick up, and Delivery

Hi my name is Ben and I am a professional bicycle mechanic with over 15 years of shop experience. I have a full service shop in my garage and have been offering tune ups by word of mouth and referral. I work on any type of bike from 1930's Schwinn cruisers to $10,000 professional racing bikes, and anything in between. I treat every bike like it was my own.
What sets me apart from everyone else is I make house-calls! I will pick your bike up in a fully enclosed and insured trailer, and drop it off when it is finished! Finally, no more having to wait till the weekend to drop your bike off only too have to wait for days to pick it up again.

Quick turn around time (same day possible). Pickup/delivery/house calls available for small fee (depending on where you live)

Why pay $70 at your local bicycle shop and have to wait over a week for your bike?

Tune up special!
$60 Includes:

Pick up and Delivery (within 25 mi. radius) No more stressing about how you'll get your bike to a bike shop!
Brake adjustments
Gear adjustments
Wheel truing
Headset adjustment
BB adjustment
Hubs adjusted
Check/tighten all nuts/bolts
Completely clean and polish
Clean and lubricate drive train
Check/fill tires

Other Services: New bike assembly ($25), Inner tube replacement ($10, tube not included), Disassembly/ Reassembly of bike for painting, hub rebuilding, and any other bicycle related service including custom builds, refurbishing and rust removal.

Free estimates.
TheChainRing@gmail.com

Thanks,
Ben @ The ChainRing

Stay tuned for my website which will be going live this week.

Ben is an awesome guy, he has done work on my bike and a lot of my DT and non DT friends, last time my bike was so clean when I got it back from him that my only complaint was that I didn't want to get it dirty, and it has being working with out problems since then.
If you rather ride than spend too much time trying to figure out how to fix your bike and then end up taking it somewhere to get it fix anyway save time and money and have Ben take care of it for you.
He has a nice set-up for his mobile service:

And he can ride too :bang:

After the Archipelago ride, my bike was trashed - drivetrain toast, brakes squealing. Ben picked it up and brought it back all fixed up! Very pleased with his service.

My rig too has been thru 'The ChainRing'. Nothing but complete satisfaction every time. When I purchased my bike at the former shop where Ben used to work, he was the first one to lay his hands on it and will remain my preferred MTB service professional. :bang:

Favorite Trails: Single track down hill.
What always blow me away is how he picks up the bike and drops it off in near new condition. He picks up my bike and it's making noises, works but not real smooth. When he drops it off the bike is quite clean and smooth with all the parts doing what they're supposed to do when they're supposed to do it.

I can honestly say I'm addicted to his service and have been recommending Ben to my friends continually. Knowing that Ben has either dialed in my bike or will take care of it allows me to focus on enjoying the ride.

I was very pleased he set up my tubeless tires!!!

The ChainRing has been coming out to all of the past Racers and Chasers events and we are always glad to have him there! The racers are always VERY stoked on his services and he is always so friendly! I count on him for all of our racers needs and that is saying a lot!

If you have not already do give him a shot! I know he will not let you down. Besides I would rather RIDE my bike than try to fix it!!

We look forward to having the ChainRing out to all of our future events!!

Ben provides top quality work. Quick turn around. The pick up and delivery service are great. Getting the bike back in excellent working order AND clean makes for great service. Highly recommend him for your bike maintenance.
